Welcome to the LEAD GENERATOR Members Only Training System. Here you will find all the training, information, and net advertising techniques to build your LEAD GENERATOR Business, or any other business you might have. We have simplified this system for your convenience and with a click of your mouse, you can choose any of the menu functions to go to a specific area of the training system.

Before you begin, I would encourage you to make some realistic sales goals based on the resources you have available. It is essential to put into perspective exactly how much time you have to devote to your business as well as establishing the amount of money that can be contributed to advertising. Having a plan is the key to any successful business venture, and this business is no exception. First of all, you need to determine how many days a week you can work by creating a realistic work schedule, and make sure you stick to it. Secondly, avoid distractions such as appealing advertisements when working on the Internet. These advertisements such as banners and ads will only waste your valuable time. Stay focused and you can always surf back to what interested you on your time off. For example, if you are searching for Ezines to place ads, complete the task prior to starting your next project.

We will enable you to keep very detailed records with statistics detailing how many visitors came to your site and how many left you their contact information to determine the cost of any advertisement campaign. A simple rule to follow is base any advertisement you place on the cost for each visitor to your site, and that cost should never average out to more than 40 cents per visitor. We have been keeping statistics on these averages for over a year, and what we have found out is roughly 2% to 3% of our ads have turned into a visit to our site and roughly 40% of them leave their contact information, with roughly 2% to 5% actually making a purchase. So by keeping our cost to 40 cents per visit we always make a good profit.

Here is a quick example:
15,000 Ezine exclusive mailing Cost $100
300 Web Site visits were produced a 2% conversion rate.
120 Visitors left contact Information and become a lead a 40% rate.
6 actual sales produced for a 5% close rate, (the close rate will vary it could be as few as 2 to 3 sales for the above example, the rate will depend on you and your ability to follow up with your leads and close the sale.)
(above was only an example of how to calculate ad costs, but these are the averages costs and statistics for over a year.)

Another rule you will find helpful is to take half of whatever amount you earn and put it back into advertisement. As you can see by the above example the more ads you place means more sales and more profit. I see many folks not spending enough of their profit to advertise their business and they never get the results they are looking for, the more you can advertise the bigger your business will grow.

Now let’s get started choose any of the above sections and start placing your ads. We will list several options for those of you with very limited ad budgets. Make all of your dollars count keep track of your leads and detail when to contact them again with notes about what happened in the previous call. Keeping good lead records can make or break you. Your goal is to get every sale possible out of each ad campaign and good records will help you do that.

This section will give you all the basics that you need to get into your Members Area and start generating leads!!

GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR LEAD GENERATOR SITE

Getting started with your Lead Generator System is a simple as going into your Member’s Area.

You will need to log into your Member’s Area using the user id and password that you established when you set up your account. Once you log in to the Members Area you will see a series of Quick Jump links, which will direct you to various portions of the Members Area.

To set up your sales letters, click on the “My Web Sites” link. You will then be directed to that area. Once you are there, you will see that under the title for each site is the URL where your specific site is located. Those are the URLs you will use in your advertising. By using those URLs, you will receive the leads that are generated from that site in your email box. Your prospects will then receive the autoresponder series that is personalized with your information (name, phone, email, LEAD GENERATOR URL). As you can see, it’s really important to get the right URL in your advertisements, so another member does not receive your leads!!

Once you have developed your ads or sales letters, depending on how you are going to advertise, you can copy and paste your personalized URLs into your ad by simply highlighting the URL with your mouse, and hitting CTRL C. To paste the link into your ad, simple put your cursor where you want the URL to appear and hit CTRL V.

As of right now, there is a Teaser Website and a series of 5 autoresponder letters for the with the LEAD GENERATOR.

When the time comes that you want to add or remove sites, all you do is click on the “Manage Sales Sites” link. You will first need to delete whatever sites you aren’t using. Keep in mind before you delete them that you will lose the lead information that you have gathered, so you may want to print backups before doing this if you haven’t worked the leads yet. Once you delete the appropriate sites, click on the “Add New Sales Site” link and choose which sites you want added.

That’s how simple the site maintenance is!!

You are also given the capability to edit or completely change the autoresponder series that your leads are getting. All you need to do is go to the main page in the Members Area (the page you go to when you log in) and click on the pencil under the URL that you want to edit the letters for. This will open up another window which will show you the entire letter series. You then need to click on the link that says “Show Entire Letter”, which will give you the entire text of the letter. To get to an editable version of the letter, simply click on the pencil again. At that point you can scroll through it and make changes or you can copy and paste your own sales letter into the box simply by highlighting the entire letter and replacing it with the new letter in the same way as you added your URL to your sales literature. Once you have done that, click on the “Update Letter” box, and that letter is updated.

You repeat this process for all the letters in the series. Now, keep in mind that your Customer Service Department is constantly testing and updating our sales letters. If we make changes to the default letters (the ones that come with the sites automatically), they will NOT change on your site if you have previously edited them.

Just like with most computer programs or applications, this portion of system is a little tricky when you first look at it, but easy as pie once you have used it awhile. So, get started!!

Whenever you have more than a couple of email addresses, where you want to send the same email, you need to use a “broadcast” application. Great news, you have access to a super little Broadcaster program as a part of your LEAD GENERATOR Business Builder membership.

Four Steps To Sending An Email Marketing …

  1. pecify your active e-mail address. This can be primary or a back-up email address, but it must be active.
  2. Specify the e-mail addresses you would like your broadcast to be sent to, one address per line. You can copy and paste these from a list somewhere else, just make sure that the original list on has one address per line – if not, insert carriage returns (the enter key) after each address before coping the list.
  3. Add a subject. Do not take this step lightly! Many people get a lot of emails, and unless your subject is distinctive, they might throw your baby out with the bathwater (inadvertently delete your email with lots of others).
  4. Then, write your message (again, this can be a copy and paste from somewhere else), and click Send.

Welcome to email marketing training. Here you will learn how to effectively market with email. Let’s cover some basics to help you start making money with email. You will need to be connected to the internet with an ISP that provides a pop3 email account. AOL is not an ISP you can use for internet marketing it may be a fun place to surf and find information, but for email and internet marketing it is useless. Find an inexpensive ISP for your internet marketing there are several listed for around $12 a month with pop 3 email account with up to 5 email addresses. You can find the account that’s just right for you in your area code by searching at: http://www.thelist.com
They have almost 10,000 ISPs listed in all area codes in the USA. Outside of the USA do a lookup on a search engine. You can view the screen shot video for help on setting up Outlook Express and configuring your new Pop 3 account. Make sure you have these setting before you view the video.
Pop3 sever address (This is for your incoming email)
Smtp server address (This is for your outgoing email)
User Name and Password (For entry into both servers)
When you are sure you have this information just follow the video for step by step directions. You will need this information again when we set up your Group Mailer it will allow you to email to thousands of email addresses with one click. Just view the video for set up directions, but set up your Outlook Express first.

You will need to make a decision on just how you want to format your email that you send. You can choose plain text or HTML. All email accounts can view and read plain text for this reason it is the choice I use. HTML formatted email is the same computer language as a web page, and that is why you can change font size, color, and even add pictures. It adds sizzle to your email, but for me until all the recipients can read it I will wait. Your auto responder is set up in plain text, and you can change the format of your emails by loading in a HTML version of the email.

When formatting an email make sure to never go more than 65 characters in any one line or the line will wrap and make your email look very unprofessional. Just count off a line or two and set your word document margins to that spot of say 60 characters, and make sure to include spaces when you count.
Now a word about SPAM or unsolicited email marketing never send an email to anyone that has not requested it or who has not joined a safe list or opt in emailing list. Never buy CDs that supposedly claim to have opt in email addresses you will only cause your self tons of complaints and the lose of your ISP, not to mention a possible law suite if you send your email ad to these addresses. There are tons of ways to get your message out without spamming so don’t take the chance.

Just pick from the menu for directions on specific email topics and Emailing to certain types of groups.

#5 Email Ads & FFA Sites

The FFA Email Marketing System!
In this section we will explain how to use FFA system in your advertisement campaigns. First we do not suggest you ever post your link to FFA sites it just is not effective any longer, plus you will receive at least 2 emails from every site you posted to and that could be thousands. Years ago FFA posting was a very effective way to get traffic and leads now no one visits those link sites so your post will not be seen by many people, and the amount of email ads you get back makes posting worthless.

We do suggest you sign up to receive free FFA sites and upgrade those site to pro or gold member whatever name the FFA network you signed up with calls it. Make sure when you upgrade you will receive all the email addresses of people who post to your link page. We suggest when sending out your email add to posters that you wait 48 hours before sending your first ad, that gives them time to clean out all the emails from the network of sites they posted to it gives your email a better chance to be read. Our method of advertising with FFA sites is effective and is a very low cost item for those of you with limited ad budgets. When you upgrade from a free member to the pro level you will receive about 500 email addresses each day and you can send them 2 emails each for a total of 30,000 each month, and the average cost to upgrade is $20.00 a month. I use at least 2 or 3 FFA sites when marketing. My advertising goal is to send out 100,000 FFA site emails each month.

Keep your first disclaimer very short don’t let it interfere with your email message. You can explain removal and thank them for posting at the end of the email.

Expect to receive a fair share of emails from your FFA advertisement. Many posters have auto responders set up to blast their ad back to you when you email them it is just part of the game. You will learn how to quickly identify emails to delete from auto responders. Another tip is to quickly scan email for additional email addresses to email to. If someone sends you their ad it is not spam to send yours to them. We did a 30,000 test mailing to links2u posters, and had 7 sign ups without even talking to any of them. This system does work, and as time goes by you will get better and faster at sending out your FFA emails.

#6 Email Marketing To Safe Lists

If you are interested in starting your own safe list just look over the links below and decide just how you want your web page and safe list to work. Create a web site for people to sign up for your list. We suggest you allow for free sign ups in the beginning to get the large numbers of people joining who will be exposed to your sales letters, and ads.

Create a members only area that is password protected. You can get a free password protected gateway at: www.bravenet.com. Your members area can be filled with links to all your affiliate programs that can make you a lot of money on the back end. You can view the video on web site creation in the video section for more help. Managing a safe list will be some additional work for you. You will need to test all email addresses on your list to make sure all the sales letters are being delivered to live email accounts and not bouncing, and making sure no one is abusing your list members with to many sales letters. Make sure to have a terms and conditions page to let everyone know your rules, and delete abusers right away.

You can join many safe lists for very little money. We will not recommend any particular list because we would flood that list with our opportunity. It is easy to find your own lists to join some starting points below. All you need to do is go to your favorite search engine and search for safe lists you will find many. Read the rules for all lists before joining and don’t spend a lot of money to join. You will find prices anywhere from free to $29.00. Make sure you understand you will receive emails from all the safe list members. Safe lists can expose your opportunity to many thousands of people for very little money .
